Atlantic Rest Natural Burial is situated at Penlow Field, Woolley near the North Cornwall and North Devon border.
Postcode for satnav: EX23 9PP – this will only take you to the centre of Woolley – you need to follow the directions below from the green.
From Bude:
Travelling from Bude towards Bideford on the A39, go through Kilkhampton and continue past the main Morwenstow junction. Turn left into Woolley (opposite the solar farm on your right).
From Barnstaple:
On the A39 after the Hartland junctions, go past the Westcountry Inn on your left. Continue on past Welcombe Cross and across the border into Cornwall. The turning to Woolley is the first on the right and signposted.
Once you reach Woolley Cross: carry on into Woolley, and turn left at the green (see photo below). On burial days only we will have a black and orange sign that says ‘Please keep left for Atlantic Rest’: follow that road for approximately 300 metres, you will find our entrance on the right.
